From Nov 06 till date for 18 months |

The scope of the SMP project covers activities for the procurement and administration of SMP resources, who are obtained under the terms of contracts in place between client and external vendors. The project will drive changes in how those contracts are recorded in SAP with the development and use of standard service masters.
The solution will host an on-line requisition system that connects with manpower operating and budget plans. Requisitions will be confirmed against Organization Consulting Department (OCD) authorized job requirements and contract labor.
The e-Recruiting system will be employed to support the procurement of SMP resources. It will be used for vendor notice, application handling, candidate evaluation records and processes, and offer generation. It will supply information needed to create purchase orders.
The HR system will copy information from e-Recruiting, and personnel actions will support the day-to-day administration of SMP resources.
The use of the HR system will be expanded to record the work times of SMP resources. The SAP Payroll can connect this information with contract prices to calculate amounts payable to vendors. This in turn will be transferred within SAP to make invoices for payments.
The presence of the SMP information in SAP will offer significant opportunity for reporting and analysis of all SMP use. |
